What is Art for you?

Alian Gail Krishna G. Palahuddin                                         HUMSS 12- FIDELITY   What is Art for you? -          The definition of art, according to the dictionary, is "the purposeful use of skill and creative, imaginative especially in the manufacture of aesthetic objects." While this is an accurate definition, it is far too broad to be intelligible. As a result, I conducted my own investigation into what art means to me. Paintings, music, dance, architecture, drama, sculpture, and literature are all examples of art. Art is a means of reawakening our dormant passions and emotions. It depicts an artist's aberrant tendencies. It elucidates several mental agitations such as loneliness, uncertainty, happiness, and restlessness. These ar...

ACTIVITY 2 (ASSIGNMENT)

ANALYSIS NOT ALL POEMS SING by Merlie Alunan First and foremost, in my opinion, the poem "NOT ALL POEMS SING" is about a person's expression and feelings. It is difficult to write a poem without prior experience and knowledge of the world. It occasionally turned into a factual narrative based on the author. Because our lives are full of darkness and brightness, this poem is highly interesting to every one of us. We seek light through our aspirations and dreams, perhaps our happiness, our life goals, and our accomplishments. We were confronted with darkness because we live in a sinful world. We had difficulties and issues, but they eventually became our dreams and motivation to restart our lives. Our lives are like gold; they are valuable and significant in the eyes of God. Anger, horrible views, and a loss of hope can turn our lives into a stone or a rock. We are human beings, and we must keep in mind that our lives are like poems.  The poem is written in narrative style ...

ANALYSIS AND SUMMARY including the side questions.

The Witch                                By Edilberto K. Tiempo SUMMARIZE There was a twelve-year-old boy who used to go to Libas to visit his favorite uncle, Tito Sabelo, the headteacher of the school bario in there. It was through his visits that he heard strange stories about Minggay Awok the so-called witch even beyond Libas. Awok is a word for a witch in Southern Leyte. Minggay lived in a small, low hut at the back of the creek separating the barrios of Libas and Sinit-an. It squatted like a soaked hen on a steep incline and below it, six or seven meters away, two trails forked, one going to Libas and the other to Mahangin, a mountain sitio. The hut leaned dangerously to the side where the creek water ate away large chunks of the earth during the rainy season. It had two small openings, a small door through which Minggay probably had to stoop to pass, and a window about two feet square facing th...
